Olivia Meyer

Olivia is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and Certified School Social Worker. She earned her undergraduate degree in Social Work from The University of Alabama and went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Montclair State University through the Advanced Standing Program, with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Families.

Olivia specializes in working with children, preteens, teens, and young adults in both therapeutic and academic settings, with particular experience supporting individuals in special education environments. She has extensive experience working with clients navigating anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, self-esteem concerns, social skills development, social-emotional challenges, grief, and overall life challenges.

Olivia strives to create a supportive and safe environment where clients feel validated, understood, and empowered. Olivia takes a trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative approach to therapy. She utilizes a strengths-based approach to assist clients in feeling comfortable to identify and express their emotions. Olivia incorporates evidence-based techniques to help clients achieve their goals and build meaningful skills.

When Olivia is not working as a therapist, she enjoys spending time with her rescue dog, Bean, as well as with friends and family. She loves going down the shore in the summer and skiing in the winter. Olivia also enjoys all sports, especially Alabama football—Roll Tide!
