Flora & Associates LLC is accepting Clinical Intern applications for Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. This internship provides graduate students with hands-on clinical experience in a supportive and collaborative environment. To ensure continuity of care for clients, interns are required to commit to a minimum of two consecutive semesters. Interns will gain experience working with diverse populations, facilitating therapeutic groups, and providing individual counseling under supervision.

HR Compliance & Performance Specialist Responsibilities

1. COMPLIANCE & CREDENTIAL TRACKING

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for clinician and intern licensure, CEU requirements, and malpractice insurance. Ensure all team members remain compliant with state regulations and organizational policies while proactively monitoring upcoming deadlines and identifying any gaps or risks.

2. PERFORMANCE MONITORING & ACCOUNTABILITY

Track adherence to clinical and organizational expectations, including timely documentation, participation in supervision, and alignment with internal standards. Support leadership in setting performance goals, organizing evaluations, and maintaining clear records of feedback, concerns, and improvement plans.

3. HR SUPPORT & STAFF OVERSIGHT

Serve as a resource for HR-related questions, providing clarity on expectations, policies, and compliance requirements. Reinforce accountability across the team while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and consistency in all staff interactions.

4. DOCUMENTATION & RECORD MANAGEMENT

Ensure all compliance and performance records are organized, accurate, and audit-ready. Maintain structured systems for tracking credentials, evaluations, and corrective actions to support operational transparency and efficiency.

5. RISK IDENTIFICATION & ESCALATION

Proactively identify potential compliance risks, credential lapses, or performance concerns. Escalate issues appropriately to leadership and support timely resolution to maintain organizational integrity and service quality.

6. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

Continuously evaluate and refine compliance tracking and performance monitoring systems. Implement structured workflows that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support consistent accountability across the clinical team.

7. TEAM COLLABORATION

Work closely with leadership, supervisors, and administrative staff to ensure alignment on compliance standards and performance expectations. Contribute to a cohesive, well-supported, and accountable team environment.

8. CONFIDENTIALITY & PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS

Handle all staff information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism. Uphold ethical standards while fostering a culture of trust, respect, and accountability.
