Who We Help

Helping Children Get the Right Care at the Right Time

When a child is experiencing a mental health crisis, families often feel overwhelmed and unsure of what to do next.

Thoughtful Evaluations

Our goal is to provide timely, thoughtful evaluations that help determine the most appropriate next steps for the child and family while helping to reduce unnecessary emergency room visits when clinically appropriate.

Why Choose Outpatient

Why Families Choose an Outpatient Crisis Assessment

For many children, a hospital emergency department can feel overwhelming. Bright lights, unfamiliar surroundings, long wait times, and the intensity of a medical setting may increase anxiety and make it more difficult for a child to communicate openly.

When clinically appropriate, this approach can help families receive answers and support without the added stress of a hospital setting.

School Re-Entry Support

Our Approach to
Individual Therapy

Many schools require a mental health clearance before a student may safely return following concerns about self-harm, suicidal statements, behavioral crises, or other significant emotional events.

When a child is clinically appropriate to return, we work to provide the necessary documentation as quickly as possible. Our goal is to complete most evaluations within 48 hours of scheduling, based on availability and clinical circumstances.

Our clinicians provide comprehensive evaluations that may include:

  • Review of the Presenting Concern
  • Assessment of Current Safety and Risk Factors
  • Clinical Interview with the Child or Adolescent
  • Parent or Guardian Interview
  • Review of Relevant History
  • Collaboration with Schools or Other Providers, When Appropriate
  • Written Recommendations Regarding Treatment and School Re-Entry

Connecting Families with Care

If Additional Support Is Needed

Not every child will be appropriate for school clearance. If a higher level of care is recommended, we help families understand their options and connect them with the appropriate services.

We believe families deserve guidance, not just paperwork.

Investment & Scheduling

The scope of a crisis assessment varies depending on the child’s history and whether they are an established client of our practice.

Because every situation is unique, fees are based on the complexity and time required for the evaluation.
