Megan is a licensed social worker who has 10 years of experience working with children and families as a child protective worker. Megan graduated summa cum laude from Centenary University with her BSW and later completed her MSW at Rutgers University. Megan works from a trauma focused lens with an understanding of the impact of ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Megan is passionate about continuing her education to best serve her clients.
Megan has experience working with the homeless population during her undergrad. Megan has worked with children and families within the child welfare system for the state of New Jersey. Megan is well versed with working with the schools, courts, and local police in Sussex County. Megan is passionate about working with people in a calming and empathetic manner. Megan focuses on ensuring each individual’s needs will be met and provides a safe space to explore feelings that are causing issues for her clients. Megan utilizes multiple treatment modalities to team with her clients to achieve their goals.
When Megan is not at work, you can find her hiking with her dog or playing trivia. Megan enjoys her time with her dear family and friends. Megan enjoys trying to cook new things (key word, trying) and ensures there are snacks at any function she attends. Megan loves her time at the beach in the summer.
