Individual Therapy for Adults

Individual therapy is a process through which a person works one-on-one with a trained therapist in a safe, dependable, and confidential environment. Together you explore feelings, beliefs, behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, better understand yourself and others, set personal goals, boundaries and work toward desired change and growth.

Couples Therapy

Therapy for couples helps you and your partner identify the core issues that are creating conflict in your relationship. Together we will determine the changes that need to take place within your relationship in order to enhance communication, increased feelings of intimacy and a sense of deeper connection within your partnership.

Family Therapy

Family therapy can look a variety of ways. It can include all the members of a family, or subgroups. It is very helpful for families in the divorce process, blended families and families overcoming trauma or high conflict. Often treatment begins with attempting to solve a problem or negotiating a resolution, but it can also help change the overall energy and interactions between family members.

Group Therapy

Group therapy can be a powerful experience that individuals of all ages can benefit from. Throughout our lives, we have to interact in groups starting with our families and growing into school groups, recreational activities, friend groups, sports teams, co-workers, neighborhoods, and communities. Group therapy encourages peer support and a sense of connection that helps decrease uncomfortable feelings while increasing self-awareness, self-esteem and overall feelings of happiness.

Group members teach each other new skills, provide different insights and perspectives as well as encourage each other to change relationship patterns that cause them to suffer and increase one’s ability to express themselves in an assertive and healthy manner.

Community Education

Part of our mission is to help educate Morris and Sussex Counties about mental health and the resources available to them to promote a better wellbeing. We are in constant contact with schools, pediatricians, psychiatrists, allied therapists,  libraries, and community organizations to help provide free and accessible education and information about living an emotionally healthy, balanced life. If you’d like for us to speak at your facility, PTA, or organization please contact us and we will set up a time that best meets or organization’s needs.
